Forum Guidelines
Kindle Publishing Forums
The goal of Kindle Publishing Forums is to provide an environment in which all community members can freely exchange
thoughts, ideas, knowledge, and opinions. We place tremendous value on this environment as a medium of information
exchange and connection point for you, your peers, and the Kindle Publishing team
Guiding Principles of Kindle Publishing Forums
We believe that the following guidelines, though basic in nature, are critical to our goal. They apply to use of all
of the resources within the Forums, and in our efforts to provide you with a valuable resource, Kindle Publishing will
take every action to enforce honest, respectful, and productive communication. Please do your part in helping us maintain
this constructive environment by following these guidelines and encouraging your peers to do the same.
- Honesty
Speak your mind! We want to hear what you have to say. What are our strengths? What should we change?
Giving us honest feedback about the things at which we are succeeding, and constructive criticism about those
which can be improved is of enormous value, and helps us more effectively support the community.
- Respect
Say what you think, but please say it constructively. The comments you post, whether in the forums, or in connection with
any of the Resource Center contents, must refrain from demonstrating intolerance for or insulting other groups or individuals.
We encourage you to be open, but cannot accept use of this community that demonstrates disrespect for others or
offensive behavior.
- Productivity
Use web real estate wisely. Have a question (no matter how complex)? Ask away and challenge your peers! Have a great
idea for a new feature, or need help in identifying the best way to format your content? Tell us! Please, however, do
not intentionally post content that demonstrates little or no relevance to Kindle Publishing issues, or disrupts the
effective use of the forums in any way. Please communicate only in a manner that respects the time and energy of your peers.
