How Does Kindle Know I'm Earning For My Blogs?
Posted: Jan 15, 2010 12:55 PM

More than 72 hours ago, I submitted three of my blogs for publication.  They are still in the pending file, which is annoying...

But as an adjunct to that, I'm wondering how Kindle knows that these are actually my blogs.

All a person has to do is put the URL of their blog into the appropriate spot, verify that it's a working blog, and that's it, correct?

So I can put any URL in there, regardless of whose blog it really is, and claim it for my own?

Or does Kindle verify that there is a "chiclet" on the blog somewhere that identifies its owner?

I ask this because I have two different screen names and accounts for my blogs. One is an educational type blog, so I have a screen name TechnoOcean Academy, and I  have a separate account and screen name for my other blog, which is a more informal type of blog.

I ask because I'm wondering if this difference in accounts and screen names is what is delaying my approval for these blogs. I haven't put the chiclets on yet... I was waiting for them to be approved before I did that.

Thanks for any help.
