(when) Can non-US developers join the party?

Hi,

I've got the KDK and simulator up and running and am really loving the Kindlet API. It took me less than a few hours to get a basic app up and running: really impressed with the KDK as a whole.

However, I'm in Cambridge in the UK. I really want to finish off my app and submit it to the Kindle store, but looking at the submission process it seems like I can't even publish a free app if I'm a non-US citizen.

I'm a UK resident/citizen with a UK private limited company. Is it true that there's no way we can publish our apps? How about if we make it free?

Regards,
Lee.

Hello,

When we launched the developer portal for the KDK program, we launched with US support only. We do support international developers and are working hard to fix the portal to allow for you to put in your proper contact information. To get around this issue right now to enable you to test on a Kindle, please just specify Washington as your state. When we support the ability to specify Canada and other countries, you will be able to correct this.

Thanks,
Jeff
