Launching viewer for local files

I would like to launch a viewer for some onboard file. Say that I knew that a PDF file was on my DX, I'd like to be able to press a button in my application and launch the PDF viewer with this file. Is this even possible? I see nothing about interacting with existing content in the Javadocs.

Hello,

Your application doesn't have access to existing documents on the Kindle. You do, however, have access to a home directory and any documents that are included as a resource in your application.

See https://kindlepublishing.amazon.com/gp/vendor/members/kindlepubs/kdk/get-content?id=200440930 for more information about persistent data storage.

Regards,
Jeff
